Origins
The Deutscher Jagd Terrier, or Terrier German hunter was developed in Germany, probably crossing the Fox English Terrier with the Lakeland Terrier. After a careful selection a capable Terrier was possible to enter in the burrows and to charge small pieces as much in earth as in water. He/she is a valiant hunter that will go to for the vixen or the boar as well as for small rodents.
Character and cares
This hunter and dog to charge pieces with shotgun possess an aggressive temperament and it is not adapted as mascot. It should be in an external kennel, and it can be cleaned with a mitten for dogs.
