Origins 
The Shiba inu is an old race associated with the prefectures of Gifu, Toyama and Nagano in central Japan, he names in fact, it means small dog in the dialect of Nagano. Remains of a dog of this type were in dated ruins of the era Joman (500 to C.). The Shiba Inu, he/she has become a firm one recently favorite for the exhibitors, following the steps of the Japanese Akita closely in the international scene. It is excellent for the birds, guardian and smaller hunt hunter, with a considerable quantity of genetic cunning. 
Character and taken care   
The Shiba is affectionate, friendly and sensitive, a good company animal as well as it stops exhibitions and/or for the hunt. He/she needs a certain quantity of exercise and a good brushing newspaper so that it seems orderly.
