Origins 
The Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever is native of the marine counties of Canada and acquaintance has only become he fried recently of this area. It is believed there is that it descends of the Bay of Chesapealte and of the Golden Retrieven Con  the head of the Golden, has some good bones until arriving to its webbed feet. Although the race takes established more than 100 years, he/she didn't receive a standard until the years 40. He/she was granted a complete international recognition by the FCI in 1982. Their work consists on flailing in the bank of the water to get the attention of the wild birds, a well-known function in the area like toffing. A moment arrives in that the bird becomes curious or the sufficiently mad thing as to swim until inside the radius of the hunter's action in the bank. The dog will charge the fallen bird. 
Character and taken care   
The Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever is calm and easy of training. As other many hunt dogs it is a good company animal whenever he/she exercises the enough. He/she needs daily toilet with a brush of natural sow and a comb.
