Origins
The English Lurcher, in fact it can have been originated in Ireland. it is not a dog of pure race but he/she has a defined type, he/she usually has a member of the family Oreyhound like one of their parents. The best Lurchers is possibly of the crossing between a Greyhound and a work Collie. Salukis, Deerhounds, Afghan and Borzois is some of the other members of the family Greyhound that have been used. Their mantel can be rough or soft and he/she should have aspect of being a relative of the Deerhound or of the Greyhound.
Character and cares
The Lurcher is generally obedient, excellent hunt dog and hunter that it will combine this paper with the one of faithful and affectionate animal of company of the family.
