Origins 
It is a hunt dog and for the shotgun, and a company animal, but not very well-known outside of their native Germany. It was developed crossing a Grifón and a Terrier. There are three varieties, being the most popular for a lot of difference, that of coarse hair. The other ones are that of long flat hair and that of medium flat hair. It was developed after the second world war, and recognized by the German Canine Society in 1953. Little time later was recognized by the FCI. 
Character and cares 
The Kromfohrlander is an intelligent and affectionate partner, and a good guardian. He/she needs a lot of exercise and a daily brushing.
