Origins 
The Pharaoh Hound is a race of dogs of medium size and acceptable view that it will also hunt for olfaction. It has been described as the oldest domesticated dog registered in the history because he/she resembles the dogs sculpted in the walls of the tombs of the Pharaohs very much and in the remains of the old Egypt dated at least in the 2.000 aC. In 1935, the archaeologists working in the great cemetery to the west of the pyramid of Keops, in Giza, they found an inscription in which a dog was picked up this way, called Abuwtiyuw, it had been buried with the whole ritual ceremony of a great man from Egypt by the kings' from the high and low Egypt order. It is believed that these Hounds was taken to Malt and Joy by the Phoenicians. It arrived for the first time in Great Britain around the years 20, it was established their standard in 1968 when eight copies were taken from Joy and Malt, and soon it was recognized. It was introduced in USA at the end of the years 60 and recognized next. 
Character and cares 
The affectionate and intelligent Pharaoh Hound has a cheerful personality and of trust, he likes children, and it is a good company animal. Their mantel needs few attentions but he require a lot of exercise and it is not capable to live in a reduced atmosphere.
