Origins
The Czesky or Terrier of Bohemia are a Terrier of short paws, not very well-known outside of their native country, the Czech Republic. It was developed by the middle of this century crossing the Scotsman, Sealyham and possibly other Terriers. The result is a strong, resistant dog that will continue to the pieces until the burrows, and an excellent iatero and guardian.
Character and cares
Besides being a good Terrier of work, the balanced temperament of the Czesky makes it a good partner for the children. He/she needs a lot of exercise and a cutting of the expert mantel for the ring, although the proprietors that have it as company animal will probably pass with an occasional visit to a canine hairdresser and a good brushing newspaper.
