Origins 
The almost without hair with Chinese crest is said that he/she originated in China and it was taken many centuries ago to South America in ships of this country. Certainly the mating of the Chinese Chinese crest with the Chihuahua can produce a lacking dog of hair. Up to 1966, an old man in U.S possessed the only copies that were of Dog Chinese Chinese crest in the world. Of those which, four were introduced in the United Kingdom and at the moment the race is increasing in both countries. In Great Britain it attracts many competitors to the exhibitions and he/she received champion's category in the 70. The Chinese Chinese crest doesn't have mantel except a crest or mane, hair in its feet and a feathery line of cheerful behavior. However, in almost all the litters, there are some puppies with hair that you/they grow to become adults of lustrous similar mantels to small shepherds. To these they are known as Powder Puffs (balls to powder) and they have been won the right of being exhibited in the ring beside their siblings without hair. 
Character and cares 
This affectionate dog is an excellent company animal for those that appreciate his affectionate nature and it doesn't displease them his exuberance. Frequently it is very active, playing without getting tired and jumping around in circles in anticipation of the smallest crumb in food. The Chinese Chinese crest adores the food, its body it is noticed hotter to the tact after having eaten, and the portions should be increased in the months of winter. Their paws will catch the things in a nice, almost human way. Ideally, he/she should take a bath every three weeks and the skin should be massaged with cream. The mustaches, and any spare hair, he/she should take off for the ring. It can adapt to hot or cold climates but it should never be had in external kennels and it is necessary to protect it of the solar burns.
