Cavalier King Charles Spaniel

Origins
The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel originated in Japan, a resemblance exists between this and the Japanese Chin or Spaniel. The Cavalier is very similar to the King Charles Spaniel, but while the King Charles has a head in apple form, in dome, the Cavalier, lightly bigger, has it almost plane between the ears and its stop it is deeper. Both took their name of the king Carlos II (1630-1685), the Cavalier was originally the favorite one. Without a doubt it was this race, to which the famous columnist, Samuel referred Pepys (1633-1703), when she complained that the king Carlos II dedicated more time to her dogs than to the state matters. At the moment, the Cavalier is one of the most popular company animals in Great Britain and America (although it is not grateful as different race in EE UU).
Character and cares
It is an admirable election as company animal, since he/she has a good temperament. Although it is classified as Toy, it is among the biggest in this group and he/she enjoys with a good quantity of exercise. It should be cleaned every day with a brush of natural sow.
