Origins 
The Beagle Harrier is a French race that was produced crossing the Beagle and the Harrier, bigger. It was developed by a French, the baron Gérard whose intention was to develop a bloodhound with the stature of the Harrier and the olfaction and the ability for the hunt of the Beagle. Of solid constitution but comic, it was indicated for the deer, fox and hare since has the resistance to run during hours without getting tired. He/she is still used in France, but he/she is not seen outside of this country. As their ancestors, it is a typically English bloodhound.   
Character and cares 
It is valiant, vivacious, intelligent and of good temperament. As the Beagle, it is affectionate but it is more adapted to hunter's paper that to that of company animal, for what prefers to live as pack member. It should be cleaned with a mitten for dogs.
