Origins 
Their name comes from its monkey face (affen in German means monkey) The Affeinpinscher is the smallest in the Pinschers and Schnauzers, and he/she is also Known in its native country as the Zwzergaffepinschero or dwarf pinscher and in France, as Diabletin Moustache (mustached demon). he/she resembles the Griffón a lot Bruxellois, although if fué the Grifón the one that contributed the Affenpinscher or vice versa it is debatable. This last fué recognized by the American Kennel Club in 1938. However, it has not been made notice in Great Britain until the last 15 years, and fué exhibited for the first time in 1980, in the Crufts Dog Show, of London. 
Character and taken care   
This attractive Toy, of messy appearance by nature, has a fine intelligence and it is excessively affectionate. He/she is a good guardian and, how the Terriers, it is not contrary to act as hunter of mice. Their thick mantel will stay impeccable with a brush.
